Pokljuka has been the setting for many interesting biathlon stories over the past thirty years, and we invite you to report from one of the most important international winter competitions in Slovenia again this year!

To register and obtain accreditation for media representatives, please visit the official website of the International Biathlon Union – REGISTRATION.
The registration deadline is March 5, 2025.
The accreditation office will once again be located at the Info Center Bled (Infocenter Triglavska roža Bled, Ljubljanska cesta 27, 4260 Bled), while the media center will be at the Triglav Pokljuka Sports Center in Rudno Polje.

Pokljuka has been the setting for many interesting biathlon stories over the past thirty years, and we invite you to report from one of the four most important international winter competitions in Slovenia again this year!
After the last two seasons with some restrictions and requirements due to Covid-19 in place, we are very much looking forward to a new season and hope that media operations will be back to normal.
Nevertheless, with the still ongoing pandemic, the situation can change very quickly, resulting in some new limitations. We will keep you informed about any changes in the “IBU Event Guidelines Infection Prevention” during the season. All the latest information and updates will be also always displayed here as well on the IBU website.

Payment policy
The deadline for paying the reservation confirmation percentage (10%) of the total amount is 8 days from the issuance of the pro forma invoice, otherwise the offer is invalid.
Payment should be in EUR to ŠPORTNO DRUŠTVO POKLJUKA without any charge on behalf of the beneficiary (terms of commission: OUR). Please state the offer number as a payment subject.

Any cancellation must be made in writing by e-mail. Following refunds can be expected, if cancellations will be done by deadlines set below:
• Before 1. 10. 2022: 90% refund of the total amount
• Between 1. 10. 2024 and 31.1. 2025: 40% refund of the total amount
• On or after 1 February 2025: No refund

Media Centre at Pokljuka Venue
The Media centre will be located at Pokljuka venue (Sports Centre Triglav Pokljuka). It is set up at a new location (same location as at the World Championships 2021 Pokljuka; next to hotel Center). Free-of-charge wireless internet will be provided, as well as a limited number of LAN cable equipped desks.

I-Zones World Cup
We will have a new request-based system for the I-Zone, where athletes will only come to the media center if specifically requested. Event-dedicated WhatsApp groups will be set up to handle interview requests and share important competition updates. You will be able to request interviews with the top 6 athletes, and WhatsApp group links will be sent to approved media prior to each event (not earlier than the accreditation deadline).
The mixed zone will remain and function as usual during the whole season.
Filming at the venue
We also want to remind you that it is not allowed to film at the venue and to use the footage from the IBU events (between the beginning and end of the official training as well as between the start of the zeroing and the end of the flower ceremony on the competition days) unless you have an EBU/IBU permission to do so. Breach of this rule will lead to a withdrawal of your accreditation and a possible ban from future events.
