Take the train to Lesce-Bled station and then the bus to Pokljuka. Mighty the dwarf will take you on snow adventures and fun with the music group Čuki.
For the first time in history, Pokljuka will host the opening LaVita IBU World Cup Biathlon competitions of the New Year.

During the New Year’s World Cup weekend, the festive atmosphere will extend to the beautiful town of Bled, where the traditional holiday programme on the famous Bled Promenade will be enriched with biathlon activities and entertainment for fans from around the world.
Enjoy the unique combination of winter festivities and world-class sport as Bled comes alive with the spirit of biathlon. One of the highlights will take place on Saturday evening, when the official Medal Ceremony will be held live on the Bled Promenade, giving fans the chance to celebrate the world’s best biathletes in the heart of one of Slovenia’s most iconic destinations.
Make the most of your visit and experience an unforgettable New Year’s weekend where biathlon, festive traditions and the beauty of Bled come together.
A more detailed programme will be announced at a later date.
This year, you will also be able to greet the winners on the Bled promenade at the medal ceremonies on Friday and Saturday, where there will also be special musical guests.
Competitions will take place on Pokljuka, while this year’s accompanying program will be hosted in Bled.
On the enchanting Bled promenade, we will organize a diverse accompanying program with a variety of activities on Friday, 14 March and Saturday, 15 March.

Due to bad weather and the cancellation of the competition program in Pokljuka, the music program in Bled on Friday, March 14, 2025, is unfortunately canceled.
This year, you will also be able to greet the winners on the Bled promenade at the medal ceremonies on Friday and Saturday, where there will also be special musical guests.
