Many biathlon fans will enjoy special free transfers from Bled and Bohinjska Bistrica at this year’s BMW IBU World Cup in Pokljuka. The organiser of the Pokljuka competitions has changed the traffic regime in order to relieve the congestion at the Rudne Polje venue.
Visitors to the competitions from 5 to 8 January will be able to park at the Infrastructure (sports stadium) in Bled and take a bus to Pokljuka. All those staying in Bled can use the free shuttle bus from the car park at the Bled Sports Hall.
Visitors staying in Bohinj will board the bus at the Bohinjska Bistrica train station.
For all fans travelling to Rudno Polje by their own means of transport, access will only be allowed up to the barrier at Mrzli Studenec. There will be parking and a free shuttle service to the venue.
For those of you who will be going to the family day in Pokljuka on Sunday by train, there will be an organized bus transfer waiting for you at the railway station in Lesce.
