Good news from the Norwegian biathlon team

Norway’s women’s national team will travel to Pokljuka with some important novelties. Three-time world champion Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold will be among the happiest. On New Year’s Eve, she announced on her Instagram that she got engaged.

The twenty-six-year-old Norwegian, fifth overall in the World Cup, posted a short video showing her left hand on which the ring sparkles.

Last year’s overall World Cup winner Marte Olsbu Roeiseland is returning to the Norwegian team in Pokljuka. Due to health problems, she missed the first part of the season, but now she is ready to fight with the best.

“I waited a long time, but now I’m happy that I can finally say: ‘I’m coming back’,” the media summed up the biathlete. The three-time Olympic champion from Beijing tested positive for the Covid-19 in March and had constantly recurring health problems. When she fell ill with a viral disease in September, it was clear that she would not be able to prepare for the major competitions early in the season.
