Secure your ticket for the first winter sports highlight of the New Year in Slovenia! From today, daily tickets for the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 2023 Pokljuka are now on sale. The caravan of the best biathletes will gather at Rudno Polje right after the New Year. The first weekend of 2023 (5 – 8 January 2023) will be a sporting one in Slovenia!
The four-day attractive competition schedule will offer women’s and men’s sprints and pursuits, and on the last day, Sunday, mixed relay competitions. There are tickets for the course area, where fans will be able to cheer on their favourites from the front row, tickets for the stands, where you will breathe along with the crowds as you watch the shooting performances on the shooting range and the battles to the last metres to the finish, or VIP hospitality at House Pokljuka with culinary indulgences and a special VIP stand. General admission tickets are still on sale and allow you to visit all days of the competition. Children under 12 years of age are admitted free to the course and grandstand areas when accompanied by their parents. Find more information about tickets >> here.
A special traffic regime from Bled to Pokljuka will also be in force during the event. All ticket holders will have the possibility to be transported by free shuttle buses to the venue and back to Bled from specially marked parking places.
The organiser has also prepared an interesting accompanying programme to warm up the crowd before and after the competitions. On Thursday, schoolchildren will traditionally visit Pokljuka as part of the Children of Triglav project, and Sunday, the last day of competitions, will be especially dedicated to families.
After the BMW IBU World Championships Biathlon in 2021, which unfortunately was held without spectators, and in the year without an international competition of the highest rank, the Biathlon World Cup is returning to Pokljuka once again. We invite you to cheer for you favourite biathletes live on the venue!
