Sunday, 8 January 2023, promises to be a very special day in Pokljuka! In addition to the women’s and men’s relay races of the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon Pokljuka 2023, there will also be a family day, which will brighten up the biathlon week in Rudno polje with many music groups.
Slovenian railways and the ŠD Pokljuka are preparing a special package for Sunday. You can get to the competition by train to Lesce Bled or Bled Jezero stations, and to Pokljuka and back by free bus.
The package, By train to the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon in Pokljuka, includes:
– a return train ticket from any starting railway station in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia to the destination station Lesce Bled or Bled Jezero, for travel on 8 January 2023,
– transportation by a special free bus to the venue and back to the Lesce Bled or Lake Bled railway stations (the package does not apply to transportation on regular bus lines),
– a coupon for a competition ticket, which you pick up at the venue.
The purchase of packages, which are available at railway stations and on trains, is possible in advance from 5 January onwards.
Price list:
– the price of the COURSE Pokljuka package is EUR 25,00,
– the price of the STANDS Pokljuka package is EUR 32,00.
Children, from 6 to 12 years incl., travel on Sunday with the IJPP discount offer up to 75%.
Children up to the age of 6 travel free of charge when accompanied by an adult (2 children per adult), if you do not request a seat for them. Otherwise, the ticket price applies as for a child from 6 to 12 years.
Visiting the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon in Pokljuka on Sunday is free for children born in 2011 and younger (does not apply to VIP tickets).

Bus transport to and from Pokljuka will take place according to the following schedule:
Lesce Bled – Pokljuka: after the arrival of the train from LJ (arrival at 10.02 a.m.)
Lake Bled – Pokljuka: after the arrival of the train from Nova Gorica (arrival at 9:20 a.m.)
Pokljuka – Lake Bled: at 4:00 p.m
Pokljuka – Lake Bled and Lesce Bled: at 4:45 p.m
