BY CAR

• from the north (Austria)
  Passing Villach in Austria (A11, E61), crossing border through Karawanken tunnel and drive at the motorway (E61). Then passing by Jesenice and take the Exit Bled. 
  From there drive along to Bled (road 315, nearly 5 km). After the gas station in Bled turn right to Pokljuka through Zgornje Gorje (road 316, 316A), which is about 25 km from Pokljuka.

• from the west (Italia)
  Before Trieste (E70, A4) leave the highway at the Exit Fernetti (Fernetiči) and cross the border. From there drive along the motorway to Ljubljana (E70, E61, A1).
  In Ljubljana take the Exit North and then the fourth Exit for North/Kranj/Austria (E61, A1).. From that point drive at the main road-you should pass the Hertz rent-a-car building on your right, and at the sixth traffic light turn right and drive till the entrance of the motorway via Kranj/Jesenice. 
  Pass by Kranj (E61) and before Jesenice take the Exit Bled. From there drive along to Bled (road 315, nearly 5 km). After the gas station in Bled turn right to Pokljuka through Zgornje Gorje (road 316, 316A), which is about 25 km from Pokljuka.

• from the south (Croatia)
  Cross border at Obrežje (Bregana, E70) and drive along the main road, pass by Brežice, Novo Mesto till Ljubljana (nearly 110 km). 
  Before Ljubljana take the Exit North/Kranj/Austria (E61, A1). Drive through short tunnel and then, after about 15 km, take the Exit Kranj/Austria (E61, A1) once again. From that point drive at the main road-you should now pass the Hertz rent-a-car building on your right, and at the sixth traffic light turn right and drive till the entrance of the motorway via Kranj/Jesenice/Austria. 
  Pass by Kranj (E61) and before Jesenice take the Exit Bled. From there drive along to Bled (road 315, about 5 km). After the gas station in Bled turn right to Pokljuka through Zgornje Gorje (road 316, 316A), which is about 25 km from Pokljuka.

• from the east (Hungary)
  Cross the border at Redics (Dolga Vas) and then take the road (10-1) through Lendava, Murska Sobota, Gornja Radgona, Lenart till Maribor. From there drive along the main road E57, A10 to Ljubljana.
  In Ljubljana at the circle traffic take the first Exit North/Kranj/Austria (E61, A1) and then again the third Exit Kranj/Austria (E61, A1). From that point drive at the main road-you should pass the Hertz rent-a-car building on your right, and then at the sixth traffic light turn right and drive till the entrance of the motorway via Kranj/Jesenice/Austria. 
  Pass by Kranj (E61) and before Jesenice take the Exit Bled. From there drive along to Bled (road 315, nearly 5 km). After the gas station in Bled turn right to Pokljuka through Zgornje Gorje (road 316, 316A), which is about 25 km from Pokljuka.

BY PLANE

• Airport Ljubljana-Brnik
  The Airport Ljubljana-Brnik is only 55 km from Pokljuka and 20 km from capitol Ljubljana. 
  From the airport take the main road to Kranj (on the left, not to Ljubljana) and follow signs for highway (E 61). When you reach it, take the entrance for Bled, Jesenice, Austria). 
  Pass by Kranj and before Jesenice take the Exit Bled. From there drive along to Bled (road 315, nearly 5 km). After the gas station in Bled turn right to Pokljuka through Zgornje Gorje (road 316, 316A), which is about 25 km from Pokljuka.
   

• Airport Klagenfurt (Celovec) - Austria
  From the airport take the road via border with Slovenia-Loibl pass (road 91), cross it and drive down to Tržič (E652), pass it by and after nearly 5 km take entrance for the highway to Jesenice (E61, A1)-not straight one for Ljubljana!. 
  After nearly 20 km take the Exit Bled. From there drive along to Bled (road 315, nearly 5 km). After the gas station in Bled turn right to Pokljuka through Zgornje Gorje (road 316, 316A), which is about 25 km from Pokljuka.
