Pokljuka - 08.12.2007 Natural snow at Pokljuka
Approx. 10 cm of natural snow covered Biathlon stadium at Pokljuka last night. Members of Technical Committee of OC Pokljuka made some additional improvements on the courses and at the stadium itself.
Pokljuka is waiting for the best biathletes to come! 4 more days to the beginning of the BWC competitions.

Pokljuka - 05.12.2007 Pokljuka World Cup Biathlon to go ahead
Executive Board of OC Pokljuka convened today at Pokljuka for a select meeting. On the basis of course conditions and snow conditions at Biathlon Centre, the Committee adopted its final decision to inform the International Biathlon Union (IBU) that the World Cup biathlon races at Pokljuka will go ahead as planned (from 13 to 16 December, 2007).

Pokljuka - 01.12.2007 Fight for snow in Pokljuka
Members of Technical committee within OC Pokljuka have been fighting with nature for last week. Temperatures below zero degrees Celsius allowed them to produce huge amounts of artificial snow but snow conditions at this moment are still not satisfactory for Biathlon World Cup competitons to take place.

Pokljuka - 20.11.2007 Snow at Pokljuka
Unless Biathlon stadium at Pokljuka has almost no natural snow, for last ten days members of OC/TC Pokljuka were preparing artificial one. We hope that nature will help us in next coming days and bring some natural snow to this part of Slovenia.
We are counting days to BWC - 22 days left to first competitions!

Pokljuka - 20.01.2007 Sumann – big surprise in Men Pursuit
We have seen a dramatic performance in Pokljuka today. Good surrounding, good venue in this severe weather conditions (sunny at 6 degrees) and excellent show for spectators. The competition was tense all the time. The winner was by surprise Austrian Christoph Sumann (0,0,0,1) followed by Alexander Wolf (1,0,0,1) and Vincent Defrasne (0,1,0,1).
