Pokljuka - Rudno polje - 20.12.2010 We did a great job
Yesterday we witnessed the spectacular end of the E.ON IBU World Cup races, hosted by Pokljuka. The fabulous scenery, excellent organization, great atmosphere and very tense races have put finishing touch on the sports festival in Rudno polje. Positive reviews were pouring from all people involved.

Pokljuka - Rudno polje - 19.12.2010 Pokljuka coloured in Swedish colours
We enjoyed the company of the best biathletes in Pokljuka today for the last time. Mixed relay confirmed its reputation of being the most exciting biathlon discipline, as it was tense all the way to the finish line. The first one to cross it was Swedish hero Carl Johan Bergman. Only three second behind were Ukrainians and Frenchmen won third place, although they were in the lead for a long time. The Russian quartet was fourth, and Slovenian relay was fifth, which is the best result in World Cup for our team.

Pokljuka - Rudno polje - 18.12.2010 Just bellow the podium
Just before the men’s sprint the sun came through the snow-covered pine trees and announced an optimistic day. Many spectators visited Pokljuka in this winter fairytale. At the end the loudest were Swedes, Norwegians and Germans and they greeted their heroes Bjoern Ferry, Tarjei Boe and Michael Greis on the podium. Slovenian flags were also high in the air, thanks to Jakov Fak, who finished the race in fourth place.
