 Another sunny day with perfect conditions for competition pleased the young athletes. The Russian team is obviously feeling great in Pokljuka. 5 young talented athletes were able to get in the top 6. Only the Belarussian Ihar Karpiuk managed to get to third place. Nikita Porsnev did not start yesterday after winning with the mixed relay. He was fast on the course, missed one shot and beat his compatriot for 10 seconds. Igor Malinovskii missed two targets. Ihar Karpiuk was 23.4 seconds behind the winner (1). Yesterday's winner Nikita Streltsov was fourth today, Nikita Lobastov fifth and Aleksandr Nasekin sixth.


The young athletes will travel tomorrow to Nove Mesto to the IBU Junior Open European

Championships. The IBU Youth/Junior World Championships in Osrblie is the main event for the future stars of biathlon.
