The Austrian team withdrew two of its members from today's sprint due to illness. Simon Eder, who was supposed to start with dress number 16, suffers from sore throat while Dominik Landertinger has digestion problems. Norvegian Alexander Osa (nr. 74) also doesn’t feel well and was forced to cancel his appearance.

Five days ahead of the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup races at Pokljuka the biathletes competed at the second World Cup stop of the year at Hochfilzen, Austria. Saturday’s schedule included pursuit races. Slovenian team was pleased to see good performances of the its biathletes as three of them clinched world cup points. The best among them was Jakov Fak on the 10th place.
