Pokljuka, December 11th, 2012 – There are only two days remaining before the grand opening in Pokljuka, where everything is practically set for all high level competitions. Teams have already practised today and the organizing committee took care of all the final details, so the best athletes would feel as home.
»I am satisfied in general. I am satisfied with all the work we've done before first arrivals on Sunday, because anyone who saw Pokljuka eleven days ago was probably sure, there will be no competition. We've put a lot of work into it and it has been done even faster than expected. We usually evaluate success of our work on how calm everything is going. And we can say it is calm, which is good. All the teams practiced twice with no complaints. We still have to remove some rocks from the snow, since almost all was brought here. We'll be doing that all week long. All in all I am satisfied with everything,« said Borut Nunar, IBU Assistant Race Director World Cup.
